In the Market: Julien Villion with Justine Mettraux


JULIEN VILLION will be the co-skipper of Justine Mettraux onboard her Imoca Teamwork for the Rolex Fastnet Race, the Défi Azimut and the Transat Jacques Vabre.

CHARLES CAUDRELIER will join the crew of Holcim-PRB for the leg 5 of the Ocean Race alongside Kevin Escoffier, Abby Ehler, Sam Goodchild and Yann Riou (OBR).

PASCAL BIDÉGORRY will be on board Viabilis for the third leg of the Pro Sailing Tour alongside skipper Pierre Quiroga, accompanied by Baptiste Hulin and Léo Legrand on the first two.

VINCENT RIOU will be Aurélien Ducroz’s co-skipper this season for the double-handed races in the Class40 program aboard Crosscall, whose bow was refitted last winter. PIERRE LEBOUCHER will be partner to Xavier Macaire on Groupe Snef for the CIC Normandy Channel Race and the Transat Jacques Vabre.



TEAM MALIZIA is looking for an experienced rigger (5 years minimum) to work on Boris Herrmann’s Imoca project; position to be filled in Lorient, contract or staff, from July 1st.

THE TEAM PRYSMIAN GROUP is looking for a digital media specialist to take charge of the digital communication of Giancarlo Pedote’s Imoca project, perfect command of Italian required.



CARLOTA ALONSO, a professional in the sailing sector, is finishing her post as Media Operations Coordinator in early July with The Ocean Race. She is then looking for a position in the offshore racing sector, communication, events or logistics.



IMOCA has published its first sustainable development report on the actions carried out in 2022.

JONAS GERCKENS has announced that he will have a new Class40 in 2024 – he will put his current Volvo on sale at the end of the season – he will unveil his project next autumn but intends to participate in the second Globe 40 in 2025 /2026.

THE BERMUDA GOLD CUP, which had not taken place since 2020, will run from October 2 to 7 in Bermuda, the event counting in the World Match Racing Tour world championship classification.
