GABRIELLE FAUTREL, currently on an internship at OC Sport Pen Duick in partnerships, is looking for an option for 12 to 15 months in partnerships, marketing, communication, events.

GUSTAVE BILLAUDEL, a student in general engineering in his last year at ICAM, is looking for a final internship from August / September 2020 preferably in supply chain or in product development.

THIBAUD CHEVILLARD, future graduate de UTC in Compiègne, is looking for a job in a mechanical engineering role in an office in the maritime sector, especially offshore racing.

YANN BLONDEL, former Mini-Transat, former preparateur for Norbert Sedlacek, is looking for a position in logistics or composites in the offshore racing sector.

ALICE POURSAIN (ex Volvo Ocean Race, OC Sport Pen Duick) is available for project management, logistics and translation work.


ANNOUNCEMENTS & PARTNERSHIPS

CONRAD COLMAN announced on Wednesday that he won’t take the start of the next Vendée Globe as he has not achieved his required budget.

TEAM ARKÉA PAPREC have announced that they will build new C foils “in cooperation with Pure engineering in New Zealand who will do the structural calculations supporting Juan Kouyoumdjian”, they will be delivered to Sébastien Simon at a month before the start of the Vendée Globe.

34 SOLITAIRES, including eight rookies will take on the 51st Solitaire du Figaro which will start on the 30 August on the Baie de Saint-Brieuc. Note withdrawls of Vincent Riou and Sidney Gavignet who had planned to line up while Brit-Aussie Jackson Bouttell announced a Figaro programme this week.

BOURHIS GENERALI will be the title co-partner of Frédéric Duthil on the 51st Edition Solitaire du Figaro.

THE STARGARDT FONDATION will be the title sponsor of Martin Le Pape on this Solitaire du Figaro 2020, and also on the Transat AG2R which is to postponed 2021. Three companies  support the foundation, Bellocq Landscapes, Sertico and SEMAQ

HELLY HANSEN will be an official partner to The Ocean Race which will launch In 2022.

THE 2020 GOODALL ROOFING SONATA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS (23-26 August) have been delayed to 2021. In its place the Island Sailing Club will host a Sonata Open event on the 22-23 August.

THE 2020 EBIKE4BART RIDE will be raced on Sunday 26 July with Ineos Team UK sailors including Sir Ben Ainslie and Giles Scott in support of the Andrew Simpson Foundation.


LAUNCHES

TEAM VENDÉE FORMATION have launched their selection process to succeed Kevin Bloch at the helm of Figaro Bénéteau 3 Vendée in 2021. Applicants have until September 1 to send an application video.

CLASS WASZP launched the Foil for Life Challenge, crossing the Channel between Lymington and Le Havre set to will take place some time between August 12 and 20. Six sailors will participate: Hattie Rogers, Edgar Higson and William Heathcote for England, Pierre Leboucher, Maël Garnier and Corentin Horeau for France.
